One month shred. One day off. Every night workin it.
Niseko, Annupuri, Higashiyama, Hanazono...inbounds and out gates. Nitonupuri and some other wicked zones our tour guide has been kind enough to share with us in his backcountry backyard. We have been learning the ways around these hoods and the ways about this small town. Niseko town, Kutchan town, onsen chilling, maxing and relaxing in full cherry style at the Ramsay pad has been rad this month. Inbounds powder shred, backcountry snowshoe powder missions, peak to pipe to park all in one run(s), backyard sessions, Swedish meatballs, sushi-triangles, learning the ways of the Niseko ninja. Sofie is rocking her camera skills all the time... (learning a lot from Simon) and from the lo0ks of these photos I will have to grab that camera from her and capture her moments. We are about to get placed in Hirafu village for the next couple months+the best brother and hommies are coming out! Exciting times ahead.

It's already been two weeks?...
2nd week in the backwoods of Annupuri has been a lot of everything. From Holiday Niseko crew night powder laps to vivid sunny backyard sessions. 6 hour peak snowshoe missions to city driving in Sapporo for the wicked snow festival. Researching heavy on a thesis and writing internship reports as well as content for Holiday Niseko's blog/fb/twitter+plus thinking of campaigns for future bookings/accommodation... while tired as hell in the evenings... Shred.
One night, Hiromi cooked a yummy Japanese HOt-P0t for the house that changed throughout the dinner by adding different ingredients as we sat around it, ate and enjoyed some tastey spirits. So we cook Swedish meatballs next.
The man of the house, Simon... dude has showed us so many sweeet spots to shred this past 2nd week... talking tricks of the social-media trade. ...Along with a crash-course in system camera photography. Happy Merry! Bodies are doing well as our minds! Skål

Intern and Return 1st week review
It's been a little over a week in Annupuri at the Ramsay house. All settled in. Simon and Dan are kicking it on their New Zealander day today, Sofie is studying, Hiromi is reading on her day off work and I'm motivating to get out and hit the quarter pipe in the side yard. All of us slept in a bit today after our first night out checking the NoJazz show at the Hilton. Got lo0se...Wacky French music.
Backing up. We have had a ton of snow this week, a bit a sun and a warm spell to mix it all together. Sofie and I have been out ripping it everyday, hiked the peak and have dialed in some sweet zones on the Mt. for future shred. Simon has toured us around the local goods and we feel so lucky. We caught up with the Niseko kingpin Ioanna and Hisashi at their Gyu bar and been driving on the Japanese side of the road in our Toyota "succeed"! N.Z. Dan and I dug out a neat-o yard park and have been tearing it up before and after Mountain time. Oh man...Really feelin' the new Mod rock Rome stick(Pete!)
Every day has been rested...sleeping 10 hours every night and having having morning social media talks with sensei Simon over heavy brewed coffee. Succeed. The daily update'n of HolidayNiseko with some relative writes & going through their site has kept us busy when we are not on the snow. Sofie's thesis work, Biofarmab updates and all of our new books are all scattered around our messy ski-bum room. Ideas everywhere! It's sweet to be on this quiet side of the mountain and be able to focus on why we are here and leave the loud partying Hirafu madness to the masses. yeah. yeah. yeah...

non stop Japow
We ripped round Niseko for one day before the snow started. It is the 4th day of dumpage and 2 meters later we are still in it.
The Ramsey House we are hangin in is holding strong as it gets buried.
Our room looks out at our neighbor's hang'r! It''s growing by the hour and it should be a big snap soon. Can't wait.

Intern and Return to Niseko
Plow guy gets a flat rate during winter to clear the driveway of the Ramsey pad in Annupuri. He has been here twice a day since we arrived and is probably bummed on his contract. Roof avalanches over the kitchen window keeps us alert when cooking up some coffee with a WHaaaBAm+PoOF! The sun popped through for a couple hours to see this joint and tie some boots... then dumped 3 feet.!. Dumping...
